IN MY OWN WORDZ.....!
Before I take you on this journey into my website, please take
a little time to get to know me. My name is Pantha Blax (formerly known as
MC
Lush). When I was MC Lush I
was on a self destructive path. But, with my new name comes a new
attitude and a renewed positive outlook on life. Now I just want to buckle down and get the music goin'. I descended from Guyanese parents.
Born Leisa Alexis Thomas in Toronto, Canada, I’ve been in the
music thang for quite some time and still am. I started doing music
with my bro' LTJ in this band called
BASSLINE! After that I found out about an all female collective called PHEM
PHAT
productions which holds a yearly event called Honey Jam. Got involved in that for a few years, then I took my talent
and joined a band called WOMEN AH RUN TINGS, did a video, called MC
FLAVA. Then went on my way, went solo for a while, kept writing,
maintaining, then joined an old school band called
TOUCHDOWN. On the side I worked on my first solo CD with my producer Steven Kent of the
C.U.E. records. Plus: did a few tracks with mixmaster Mountain
